“Come hear the story of how fellow Oak Forest resident Lauren Simpson transformed her family’s lifeless landscape into a pollinator paradise welcoming 39 butterfly species, nearly 30 bee species, and over 25 wasp species---all in just the last two years.  Lauren will give handy tips on how to create a wildlife garden at your own home, for the enjoyment of your family and our community.”

Spirit Nights hosted by local businesses support OFHA!


The third Monday of every month in 2017 will be Spirit Night for the OFHA when you tell your cashier you are there to support the Neighborhood Patrol Program (formerly known as Neighborhood Security Program); 15% of your total sale will be donated to the Program. Grab a neighbor, friend, spouse, partner...whatever!...and go by and support Hartz Chicken Buffet on Pinemont and the Neighborhood Patrol Program!

Alternatively...there is a Glass Recycle Bin in TC Jester Park at the north end of the parking lot! Recycling is a good keep our community clean and green! RECYCLE!

Just a reminder: please do not put plastic grocery bags in your recycle bin. These bags tangle up in the equipment and cause remember no plastic grocery bags! :)
